General Information:
The Micro Division is an introduction to athletics and teamwork. The emphasis is
on individual physical development of basic balance, running, rolling,
jumping, and kicking skills. Each session ends with a short informal
scrimmage. Micro players have one session per week. It is important to note that all assistants are
volunteers and every parent is expected to contribute. A list of activities may be rotated among the
parents; bringing freezies, helping set-up, helping to put everything
away, etc. Parental participation in Micro is key to building a love of
sport in your child.
Coaches:
If you have not yet done so, please consider
getting involved as an coach for your child’s team.
You don’t need to know the game; you just have to learn it faster than
the children. A pre-season meeting will be held to demonstrate the equipment and provide pointers for running successful
practices this season. If you’re not sure, why not contact the President,
send an email to: president@wcsc.ca
